Mrs. Lula Lightcap, 64 died at Culver Hospital at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday after a long illness. She had been a patient at the hospital since Saturday. Mrs. Lightcap was a lifelong resident of Crawfordsville. Born in Crawfordsville Feb 25,1897, she was the daughter of Joseph Henry and Emma Hitchens Leslie. She was married to William Forrest Lightcap in 1915. Mrs. Lightcap was a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Fischer of Detroit, Mich and Mrs. Anna C. Clark of Crawfordsville; two sons, William Forrest Lightcap, Jr of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and Charles David Lightcap of Crawfordsville and one grandchild. Preceding her in death were her husband in 1954, a sister and half-brother. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bright Funeral Home, Rev. Roy E. Wilson, pastor of Bethel Nazarene Church officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery.
